Creighton Family Science Library Endowment

The Creighton Family Science Library Endowment was established in 2006 by Dr. James J. Creighton Jr. and his wife, Norma. Jim is a physician and partner for the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center, in Indianapolis. Jim is also a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Science Advisory Council at Notre Dame. Jim received his bachelor’s degree from Canisius College and his medical degree and orthopaedic residency training from State University of New York at Buffalo, where Norma received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The Creightons have two children, James (’09) and Andru (’13).

The Creighton Family Endowment supports the students and faculty in science and engineering who seek to improve the human condition through research and discovery in the areas of human health and the environment.

The Creightons have also supported the construction and resourcing of Jordan Hall of Science.
