The Crouch Family Library Endowment

The Crouch Family Library Endowment was established in 1999 by Dick (’68) and his wife, Jean, of University Park, Florida. Dick retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2004 where he was an audit partner. Currently, he is an independent director at Black Box Corp. and on its board of directors. At Notre Dame, Dick is a longstanding member of the Monogram Club. Dick and Jean, have two children, Michael and Michelle (’96).

Designated to support business and journalism, the Richard L. Crouch Library Endowment currently underwrites the Hesburgh Libraries’ subscription fee to the Wall Street Journal, a publication that is at the crossroads of these two fields. While this periodical is certainly of use to business and journalism scholars, it touches every field, and is widely recognized as one of the top communications in the nation, if not the world. This endowment makes a significant and far-reaching impact for visitors to the Libraries.
