The Richard P. Anton Family Endowed Collection in Business Ethics

The Richard P. Anton Family Endowed Collection in Business Ethics was established in 1987 by Notre Dame parents Dick (’54) and Bonnie Anton. Dick has been a member of the Notre Dame Law School Advisory Council since 1990. Members of the Order of St. Thomas More, Dick and Bonnie live in Pittsburgh and have two sons, one of whom is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame.

The Anton Family Endowment supports scholarship and research in business ethics through collection development and services. The fund has enabled the Hesburgh Libraries to provide support for a field to which Notre Dame has a particular commitment – business ethics. The Libraries have used the endowment to acquire a comprehensive collection of works which explore the relationship between public policy and business decision and between humanistic and business studies. The Anton Endowment provides quality information through databases such as ABI/INFORM Global and Business Insight: Essentials, both critical in maintaining the Mendoza College of Business’ well-recognized programs.

The Anton family also supports the Kresge Law Library through the Richard P. Anton Family Law Library Technology Endowment.
