Through funding from the Vuono Family Endowment, more than 1,000 titles were recently added to the Italian Language and Literature collection, including volumes on the topics of historical language development, poetry, linguistics, and new fiction. Rare book acquisitions have included items pertaining to the authors Dante Alighieri and Pier Paolo Pasolini.

The Vuono family also supports a collection in the Kresge Law Library.
