The Mendoza College of Business is widely recognized among the top programs in the nation, and this position of prominence would certainly not be possible without the library resources the Bachurski Family Endowment provides, such as the Morningstar Direct database and journals like Business Ethics: The Magazine of Corporate Responsibility. As the College evolves, it is focusing on more closely defined areas of inquiry—such as venture capital and business ethics. This fund lends critical assistance to each new research initiative, and enables the Hesburgh Libraries to provide support for a field to which Notre Dame has a particular commitment –business ethics. Analyzing business through the lens of ethics allows the University to create a footprint and presence that is unique and key to the future of the field.
