Pilliod Family Endowed Collection in International Marketing and Finance

The Pilliod Family Endowed Collection in International Marketing and Finance was established in 1984 by Peter Pilliod, president of Peter Pilliod and Associates and past chairman of the board of the Pilliod Cabinet Company in Ohio, a company founded by his great-grandfather. At Notre Dame, he is a member of the Advisory Council for the Hesburgh Libraries. Pete and his wife, Sandy, have two daughters, Barbara and Debra. Aside from the Libraries, Pete and Sandy have also supported the Jordan Hall of Science and the Compton Family Ice Arena. The Pilliods also established the Pilliod Family Library Endowment.

The Pilliod Endowment allows for considerable acquisitions versatility in an area in which demand is exploding. Its focus serves a wide audience, from faculty researchers to those requiring general reference works to South Bend-area businesses. Examples of general works acquired with the fund’s support are abundant and include such materials as Euromonitor’s Passport Global Market Information Database (GMID) and the updating of Juvenal Angel’s Directory of Foreign Firms Operating in the United States
