Marino Collection in Computer Science and Engineering

The Marino Collection in Computer Science and Engineering was established in 1996 by Kenneth and Jeanette Marino. Ken, a Notre Dame alumnus, received bachelor’s degrees in science and engineering in 1968 and 1969, respectively. In 1973, he earned his master’s degrees in engineering and public works administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Ken is a retired partner of Wayne Crouse Inc., a mechanical and general contracting firm. At Notre Dame, he is a member of the Engineering Advisory Council. Ken and Jeannie have two children: Frank and Anthony (’98).

Supporting a broad spectrum of computer science and engineering materials, the Marino Endowment enables the growth of the Hesburgh Libraries assets of journal literature which communicate new research findings and open the door to ideas for further research. The endowment has recently made possible the acquisition of new e-books, critical to the ongoing advancement of science and technology. The Marino Collection is supporting scholarly initiatives in system architecture, organization, and design in emergent technologies, as well as resources for University developments in high-performance computing.

The Marinos have also supported the Stinson-Remick Hall of Engineering.
